Our New Farm

We made a visit to our new farm this past week, and we wanted to post a few pictures to share with all of you. We will be moving sometime after Thanksgiving. It will depend on the timing of everything else.

A view of the front of our new home.
Looking out off to the West on the front porch. I can't wait to see the sunsets.

The beautifully crafted closets in the Master Bedroom.

Fall Farm Happenings

Hello Everyone,

Fall is here and we are still busy in preparation for the winter months. We are enjoying the bounty of a long summer in the garden. We've been busy putting up many Sweet Potatoes. We've also dried some Eggplant and Winter Squash.  Here are a few pictures from around the garden and from our efforts to put food by.
The Sunflowers were late but beautiful this year.
A still green striped Roman Tomato.
"Hill Country Red Okra" A Southern Texas Heirloom.
 Eggplant is still going.
Some jars of dried Eggplant and Winter Squash for soups this Winter.
Here are a few extra large Sweet Potatoes I dug in late summer.

Peace,
Kevin, Mary, Rose, and Anastasia

Preparing for the Move

Well, our first year CSA has come to an end, and we are now in the beginning stages of preparing for our big move to our new farm. We are ecstatic to have our own place again after a year of living with the in-laws to get started. We plan to move in late November or early December depending on when we can get help. We will be making a trip to our new farm soon and I hope to post pictures to share. Until then...Fiat.
