Fall Farm Happenings

Hello Everyone,

Fall is here and we are still busy in preparation for the winter months. We are enjoying the bounty of a long summer in the garden. We've been busy putting up many Sweet Potatoes. We've also dried some Eggplant and Winter Squash.  Here are a few pictures from around the garden and from our efforts to put food by.
The Sunflowers were late but beautiful this year.
A still green striped Roman Tomato.
"Hill Country Red Okra" A Southern Texas Heirloom.
 Eggplant is still going.
Some jars of dried Eggplant and Winter Squash for soups this Winter.
Here are a few extra large Sweet Potatoes I dug in late summer.

Peace,
Kevin, Mary, Rose, and Anastasia
